1. How much is being deducted from my Unemployment Compensation (UC) benefits for child support?
 
Information regarding weekly deduction amounts may be accessed from the View Payments menu. Click "Next" and complete the "Benefit Payment Login" fields using your social security number and PIN. Select "Additional Benefit Payment History" and click on "View Benefit Payment History." The View Benefit Payment History screen will display the breakdown of each week's UC benefit payment, including any support withheld.
 
2. Which county or state attached my UC benefits for the child support?
 
The Department of Human Services administers the child support program. Those services can be found at www.childsupport.state.pa.us. Child support information specific to your UC claim may be obtained by calling UI Claimant Services Child Support at 717-787-5856.
 
3. Child support is being deducted from both my part-time wages and partial UC benefits. How can I cancel one of the deductions?
 
It is each county or state's Domestic Relations Section, and not the Office of Unemployment Compensation Benefits Policy, which can modify child support attachments. To request changes to an existing child support attachment, contact the Domestic Relations Section in the county or state where the child support case is located.
 
4. My case has been closed and child support should no longer be deducted. How can I have child support deductions stopped?
 
It is each county or state's Domestic Relations Section, and not the Office of Unemployment Compensation Benefits Policy, which can terminate child support attachments. To request termination of an existing child support attachment, contact the Domestic Relations Section in the county or state where the child support case is located.
