Military Reserves and National Guard Returning from Deployment
If you are a member of the Military Reserves or National Guard returning from Iraq, Afghanistan or other locations, the spouse or surviving spouse of a member of the Military Reserves or National Guard returning from Iraq, Afghanistan or other locations you may be eligible for reemployment assistance through PA CareerLink®, if you meet one of the following criteria:

You were a trade certified participant who was determined eligible for Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) and were required to interrupt TAA - approved training because of deployment.
- You were a trade-certified participant who was not able to enter training due to deployment and, therefore, you are ineligible for TRA.

You were a dislocated worker previously enrolled in training under the Workforce Investment Act whose training was interrupted due to deployment.

You are a spouse of a returning member of the National Guard or Reserves, or a widow or widower of military personnel who lost his or her life as a result of deployment.
